Blackburn Rovers (London & District) Supporters Club
The Blackburn Rovers (London & District) Supporters Club was formed in 1976.
Its aim is to unite fellow supporters based in the south of England for continued association with Blackburn Rovers.
Each season this Supporters Club stages a Rovers Day in conjunction with Blackburn Rovers Football Club at a selected Rovers home game consisting of a pre match question and answer session with a past Rovers player and the presentation of the player of the season trophy this taking place in the Darwen Suite post match.
The club has a football team and occassionally has teams playing Cricket, Darts and Pool.
Other social events based in the London area are organised during the year consisting of Golf, Mystery Pub Crawl, Quizzes and Christmas drinks.
The Supporters Club has its own website.
This is used mainly for introduction for new members but also includes all our latest news and the website magazine Many Miles From Home.
The Club has its own Facebook page this is for all the latest quick information such as times, meeting places etc.
Travel to games is usually by train or some other members travel by car.
The Club has its own ticket secretary (this is for away games only) for match tickets directly through Blackburn Rovers Football Club.
The membership fees for this season 2012/13 are as follows:
£5.00 Individual over 16,
£2.00 Individual under 16, OAP and disabled.
