BOLTON WANDERERS | |
![]() Bolton Wanderers Supporter Club London (BWSCL) was formed in January 1987 by a small band of exiled Boltonians in the (then) White Swan pub in Covent Garden. The success of the '96-'97 season saw our current membership grow to 200. The annual subscription is £8.00 (£3.50 unwaged, £15.00 overseas) which entitles members to APFSCIL travel discounts, discounts at the club shop and a copy of our monthly newsletter 'The Trotter'.The Club is represented at the oche by the 5-a-side darts team which has competed in the first division for five years. Our 'successes' include a runners-up position and two cup semi-final appearances. The 11-a-side Football team will begin yet another season in the 3rd division in their never ending quest for mediocrity. The Club organises a wide range of social events including our meetings at The Lord Moon Of The Mall on the last Wednesday of every month. More informal gatherings are arranged on an 'ad hoc' basis and this year have included trips to members' weddings in Ireland and Aberdeen! BWSCL hopes to continue our strong links with the Wanderers at the magnificent Reebok Stadium. Over the last couple of years, interviews have been granted with players and staff and a representation awarded our player of the year trophy to John McGinlay on the pitch before the final game at Burnden Park.
