HULL CITY
[Hull Crest]

Hull City Southern Supporters are an independent supporters group based in London, but with members from all over the country and in places as diverse as Germany, Brazil and Nepal. Formed during the 1983/84 season by exiled City fans who realised they kept catching the same trains on a Saturday morning, the membership has grown to many hundreds and is active in encouraging attendance at City games and participation in sports and social activities. Group travel is arranged (by train or minibus) to any matches where there is sufficient interest and car sharing is encouraged and co-ordinated from all parts of the country.

For the inflation-busting price of £6 (payable direct through our website via an eform or PayPal) members receive the indispensable Travel Guide, which contains hand-picked pubs for meeting up pre-match at all away games (usually with a high standard of beer and food on offer) and our regular home pre-match location. Match tickets can also be collected from the pub(for those games where tickets have been made available to us, members may order and purchase tickets via HCSS website). Members also receive an end of season review magazine 'Tigers Eye' as well as invitations(via regular email bulletins) to social events -- which include regular Fans Forums with representatives from the club, and organised screenings of live TV games, together with ad-hoc events such as the recent evening with our Honorary President Mark Herman (including screenings of his two football related films) and a forthcoming charity auction with an Ex Tiger as guest of honour.

The club has run a football team in the APFSCIL league for almost 30 years and is constantly looking for new players (and spectators/groupies!)to join the squad for a relaxed and friendly, but competitive, standard of football-- which also has an active social side, incorporating a summer tour usually in sunnier climes) and challenging matches against the Ex-Tigers and HCSS veterans. We currently have an active pool team ( also looking for new players), a lapsed quiz team and also arrange ad-hoc sporting events/tournaments ranging from mini-golf to pair cricket.

We look forward to hearing from new members, so sign up and get involved.
